Sequim
We spent the weekend in Sequim, also known as The Lavender Capital of North America. With an average of 16 inches of rain per year, Sequim is the perfect getaway from the Seattle rain. Besides visiting several Lavender Farms, we hiked Marymere Falls Nature Trail, Olympic Game Farm and Lake Crescent.
Purple Haze Lavender Farm
During our trip to Sequim we stayed at Purple Haze Lavender Farm. There is a house for rent in the middle of the property with a perfect 360 degree view of the lavender fields. If you decide to stay there, book early because it fills up. If you only want to visit the farm, there is a you-pick lavender option and gift shop to enjoy.
