We visited Maris Farms in Buckley, WA at the end of August- prime time for sunflowers. The property is about 40 acres and has a beautiful view of Mount Rainer. We took a hayride down to the fields, took photos and paid a small fee to do the sunflower you-pick.

Eats
I recommend eating by Lake Tapps; Island Lodge by Al Lago had a beautiful view of the water and Mount Rainer. The Prime Rib hit the spot and it is only a 20-minute drive from the fields. However, if you do get hungry at the Sunflower Fields they have fun concession stands with hot dogs, kettle corn, cotton candy, etc.
